The German American National Congress, also known as D.A.N.K. (Deutsch Amerikanischer National Kongress), is the largest organization of Americans of German descent. It has some 30 chapters and over 100 associated member societies from coast to coast. The goal of the D.A.N.K.-Schools is to foster more deeply German culture and customs and to promote the preservation of the German language in the USA.
The oldest D.A.N.K.-School from the DANK Chapter Chicago North friendly supports the guest performance of the German language cosmical revue "Sonne, Sterne, Mond & Co." in Chicago.
